Police have charged a 40-year-old man with kidnapping his two children from a hotel room.
Saleem Tahir is alleged to have entered the room in Stoke-on-Trent where his two-year-old daughter, Na'ilah, and 10-month-old son, Sulaimon Khan, were staying with their mother on Friday, before taking the youngsters.
Following a major investigation, the children were found safe and well in a guest house near to Derby city centre at around 7pm on Monday.
They have since been reunited with their mother.
Tahir's mother, Denise Smith-Sellars, 67, was also arrested on Monday and has been released on police bail pending further inquiries.
Tahir is due to appear before magistrates in Cannock this morning charged with two offences of kidnap.
